Controller and purpose
Sitix, Opaallaan 1180, 2132 LN Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 24404996, is the controller and the developer and publisher of Lying Thieves: Amsterdam. We use your data to receive and assess your Track, verify rights, communicate with you, form and administer a licence if accepted, prevent abuse and establish or defend legal claims.
Use the contact form below or email privacy@sitix.nl for a privacy or rights request.
Data and legal basis
We process the form information, audio file, supplied URL, credits, rights declarations, signature, Track and agreement hashes, submission reference, timestamp, IP address and browser information. A strictly necessary session cookie protects the form; we do not use it for advertising or analytics. Processing is necessary to take steps at your request and perform an agreement. Security, fraud prevention and preservation of rights evidence rely on our legitimate interests and applicable legal obligations.
Recipients and security
Access is limited to Sitix and service providers, professional advisers, distributors or platform partners who need it for review, licensing, game distribution or legal claims. Some may operate outside the EEA; where GDPR requires it, an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards will be used. We do not sell submission data. Uploads use HTTPS and are stored outside the public website with restricted server permissions. If you provide collaborators’ personal data, you must tell them about this notice.
Retention
Pending submissions are kept for up to 12 months. If not accepted, the audio file and detailed form record are then deleted unless a dispute or legal duty requires longer storage. Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months. For accepted Tracks, the agreement, audit evidence, rights information and necessary source material are kept while the licence or exploitation continues and for up to seven years afterwards. Web security logs normally rotate after 14 days.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw a pending Track without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contract and rights evidence may need to be retained even when other data is deleted. We do not make solely automated acceptance decisions.
Questions and complaints
Send a request below and quote your submission reference. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority or the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
